We're at nine days and counting until the Outback Strong Teen Health Fair. The prizes continue to arrive, and volunteers are still signing up. This is going to be a great event for Lakeview's sixth- through 12th-graders.

The fair is from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, in the Daly Middle School auditorium. This is an early release day, so students will be able to visit the fair as soon as the school day ends. Parents of A.D. Hay sixth-graders should be receiving a permission slip allowing their child to walk to the middle school as soon as the final bell rings at 1:30 p.m. Middle and high school students are welcome when school gets out at 2 p.m.

For more information about the event, contact Community Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP) coordinator Arvinder Singh via email or at (541) 947-2114 ext. 198.
