<image:caption>Heidi Martinez, Executive Director (LPC) Heidi Martinez serves as the Executive Director of Outback Strong. She brings a diverse background in behavioral health, with experience spanning both urban and rural communities. Heidi earned her master’s degree in psychology from Antioch University in Seattle, Washington, with a dual focus in community mental health and couples and family therapy. Throughout her career, she has worked in major metropolitan areas, including Seattle and Denver, as well as in smaller communities such as Klamath Falls and Lakeview. While each setting offers unique strengths, Heidi values the strong sense of connection and cohesion found in rural communities. Heidi founded Outback Strong to ensure continued access to behavioral health services in Lake County following the organization’s transition from its affiliation with the local hospital. She remains committed to that vision and is dedicated to expanding services to better support individuals and families in the community.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Hayley Roark, (MS. LPC, ASDCS) Hayley serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Christmas Valley Office. Hayley earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and have experience working with a diverse range of mental health concerns. Hayley also is registered with the Board of License Professional Counselors to provide supervision services to registered Associates, seeking licensure. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered. Her approach is deeply client-centered, grounded in the belief that every individual carries innate strengths, resilience, and the capacity for meaningful change. She views therapy as a collaborative journey—one in which she works together to explore your story, honor your experiences, and build pathways toward the life you want to live. She draws from evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy, integrating tools that help clients build emotional regulation skills, develop healthier coping strategies, and re-author stories that may have been shaped by past challenges. No two clients are the same, so she tailors her approach to meet each person where they are while fostering a warm, nonjudgmental environment. As a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), she has specialized training in understanding and supporting individuals across the autism spectrum. She aims to create a space where neurodiversity is respected, autonomy is encouraged, and strengths are recognized as central to the therapeutic process. Above all, her goal is to provide a safe and validating space where you can show up as your authentic self, explore your inner world with curiosity, and feel empowered to create lasting, meaningful change.</image:caption>
