About Us

Outback Strong was established in January 2025 after transitioning from a hospital-based model into a nonprofit organization, allowing for a more community-focused approach to care. As a nonprofit, the organization is dedicated to improving access to mental health services and supporting individuals and families within Lake County. Outback Strong serves as a community mental health provider, offering services across several rural areas including Lakeview, Adel, Plush, Paisley, and Christmas Valley. Through this transition, the organization aims to better meet the unique needs of these communities by increasing accessibility, promoting wellness, and providing consistent, locally based support.
