QMHP Intern – Behavioral Health Counselor

A QMHP Intern in Oregon is a graduate-level student working toward qualification who provides mental health services under supervision. Interns assist with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals experiencing mental health concerns. Responsibilities may include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, supporting individual and group counseling, participating in crisis intervention, and coordinating care with community resources. QMHP interns use evidence-based practices, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and work under the supervision of a qualified clinician in accordance with Oregon Administrative Rules.

A QMHP is a master’s-level or licensed professional responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals and families experiencing mental health concerns. This role includes coordinating assessments, providing counseling services, and facilitating appropriate referrals. QMHPs collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans that support the best possible client outcomes.

QMHP – Telehealth

A Telehealth QMHP is a master’s-level or licensed professional responsible for providing virtual assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to individuals and families experiencing mental health concerns. This role includes conducting telehealth assessments, delivering remote counseling services, coordinating appropriate referrals, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Telehealth QMHPs collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans while utilizing secure virtual platforms to support positive client outcomes and continuity of care.
