High Plateau Humane Society is an all-volunteer animal rescue non-profit organization in Alturas, California. They offer low cost spay/neuter, immunizations, exam and euthanasia as well as dog and cat adoptions. They also operate the Second Chance Thrift Store. You can donate gently used items or shop the store.
